About Russian River Real Estate
The Russian River is composed of many different smaller communities including Monte Rio, Rio Nido, Guerneville, Forestville, Jenner, and Cazadero. It is the heart of Sonoma County with views of the awe-inspiring Russian River, the stunning Pacific Coast, Austin Creek, and the spectacular redwoods of Armstrong Woods. Homes for sale on the Russian River range in price and are very unique and diverse. Many people invest in Vacation Rentals that they can use throughout the year and rent out when they are not using them. This allows them a peaceful retreat from their busy lives but also allows them to generate income as well. Now matter what you are looking for the Russian River has it!
If you have children that are still in elementary school there are three very prominent schools in the area Guerneville Elementary school, Forestville Elementary School, and Monte Rio elementary school. If your children are in middle school they can remain at Guerneville school through their junior high years or they can attend Forestville Academy. Due to the remote location and high vacation traffic there is only one high school in the Russian River area. This school is called El Molino High School and is not only known for its academics but its sports teams as well.
